1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and social media handles when you create an account. For sellers, we collect business information including address, business type, and payment details for Stripe onboarding. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, bookings made, and interactions with the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: operate and improve the BeautiBase platform; process bookings and payments; send booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts; personalise your experience; and communicate platform updates and offers. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information Sharing
We share information with: service providers necessary to operate the platform (Stripe for payments, email providers for notifications); sellers when you make a booking with them (they receive your name, contact details, and booking information); and as required by law. We never share your data for advertising purposes without your explicit consent.
4. Authentication Providers
When you sign in using Google, Apple, X (Twitter), or Discord, we receive basic profile information from those services (name, email, profile photo). We do not receive your passwords for these services. You can review the privacy policies of those providers separately.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@fetelabs.com. Booking records may be retained for up to 3 years for legal and tax compliance purposes.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
7. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication and functionality. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though this may affect platform functionality.
8. Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy
BeautiBase is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
