1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BeautiBase (beautibase.skin), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the platform.
2. Use of the Platform
BeautiBase is a beauty booking and marketplace platform. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.
3. Seller Accounts
Beauty professionals who apply to sell on BeautiBase are subject to our seller approval process, including KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. BeautiBase charges a flat monthly subscription fee of $6.99 to access seller tools. Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) apply to payments collected from clients.
4. Bookings and Payments
Bookings are made directly between clients and service providers. BeautiBase facilitates the booking process but is not a party to the service agreement. Payments are processed through Stripe. Cancellation and refund policies are set by individual service providers and are subject to their stated policies.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not: use the platform to engage in fraudulent activity; post false, misleading, or defamatory content; attempt to circumvent platform fees; harass or abuse other users; scrape or copy content without permission; or attempt to access systems or data beyond your authorisation.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, etc.). By uploading content, you grant BeautiBase a non-exclusive licence to display and use that content on the platform. BeautiBase's brand, software, and platform design are owned by Fete Labs and may not be copied or used without permission.
7. Disclaimers
BeautiBase is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality of services provided by sellers, the accuracy of availability information, or uninterrupted platform access. Use the platform at your own discretion.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fete Labs and BeautiBase shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will provide notice of material changes via email or prominent notice on the platform.
